Syslog Configuration & Integration

To set up regular Syslog, or to enable Syslog access on a non-default port, log into the app, navigate to Syslog, provision, and see the Syslog URL and port that you should use.

Then append it to your /etc/syslog.conf

Note: TCP and TCP+TLS are all supported on the same provisioned port. If you are using a custom port to send logs via UDP, please contact LogDNA support to provision the port. Consult your local Syslog man page for full configuration details.

Note: We accept RFC 5424 and RFC 3164 for auto parsing Syslog.
